Plastic-Free NYC Organizing Meeting

We've passed the skip the straw law and banned single-use plastic bags but there's so much more to do to help NYC break free from plastic. It’s time to branch out!

We’re excited to introduce a new project -- Local Beyond Plastics Groups. These groups will be made up of clusters of dedicated grassroots activists who are ready to take our core principals and work to achieve them locally – starting with the neighborhoods of New York City.

Wondering how will these local groups will work? Sign up for the 18th!

Rather than our usual NYC quarterly meeting agenda, we'll use our time together on January 18th to introduce the new Beyond Plastics Local Groups and explain how they'll work so you can decide if you'd like to form or join one.

Interested? Join us on Tuesday, January 18th at 6pm ET to learn more about this initiative and meet Beyond Plastics' new Policy Director, Megan Wolff.
