Eileen Ryan

Eileen is an activist who volunteers her time for climate and social justice causes in the greater Boston area. She helped to write and pass the single-use plastic ban in Watertown, MA, where she lives. She grew up in North Bennington, Vermont, is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College, and is the parent of three grown children. She completed Judith Enck’s plastic pollution course in March, 2021. Eileen also gives architectural and historic walking tours of Boston with Boston by Foot.

Eileen is the founder of Beyond Plastics Greater Boston.
